We thank our local litter weekend warriors: Mike Cheverria (organizer) Chip Rich (Association President), Randy Hearn, I-da and Yu-Ching Fan, Dustie Parnell, Steve Wakefield, and Paul and Linda Berteau. Litter was picked up on both sides of U.S. Rt. 40 from I-70 exit 247 to 248 and eastward on U.S. 40 almost to the Soda Creek Road turnoff on the way to Evergreen/El Rancho in record time of 1.5 hours (10:00 -11:30 am). It was a party-like outing with donuts and OJ and celebrating completion with chocolate/caramel turtles! We found the usual cups, plastic straws and lids, casino rewards cards, and car parts, as well as tire chains,, hat, and lots of cigarette buts. We left the roadside looking pristine again! The next litter pick-up will be next May. Join us!
