Cost:
Normal pile cost is $30 for members
(non-member add $20). Rates will vary from there. For
example,
the cost for double or triple sized piles will charged at
double or triple the rate.
Volunteer Info:
-
We'll meet Saturday morning at the park-n-ride by the
antique store.
-
Time is yet to be determined. 8 or 9 am depending on the
forecast.
-
So bring your gloves, ear & eye
protection and LOTS of water.
A Reminder:
-
It's helpful, but you don't need to be present to get
chipped.
-
If you're not present, put a check for $30 stapled to
the pile or in your mailbox (make it out to FHAPOA).
Non-members add $20.
-
If you think you have a larger pile, the price will be
more,
you could leave a blank check made out to FHAPOA and
we'll enter the right amount.
-
Please
make sure your piles contain ONLY slash. NO construction
debris!!! NO rocks!!! NO stumps!!!
-
Locate your piles
anywhere long your driveway (at street level is ideal), but
please don’t put them in the drainage ditches adjacent to
county maintained roads.
-
If you have
multiple piles and not going to be around, leave that in
the note.
-
We'll broadcast the chip in the best possible place.
If you want it in a pile, just put that in the note with
your check.
-
We rented the 12" by 12" chipper but we will not chip
anything large than 4".
-
We'll pick up the larger stuff - someone will use the
logs for firewood.
Remember to email
Keith to be put on the
list. Include your name, address and phone number.
As usual, we will take last minute signups, so don’t let
that stop you from calling to participate.
Contact Keith, by phone or
email, if you have questions or
want him to stop by and make sure you're doing it right.
Thanks and looking forward to some great community bonding,
Chip Rich
