I-70 WEST REPORT

• Resurfacing – between Empire Junction (U.S. 40) and Georgetown

  Various lane and shoulder closures, westbound, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to approximately 8 p.m.  Delays less than 20 minutes.

        Various lane closures, eastbound or westbound, Sunday and Monday, 7 p.m. to 8 a.m.  No delays   expected.

• Crossover Construction – between Dumont and Downieville

        Lane closures as needed but most work outside traffic lanes, eastbound and westbound, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.  Delays less than 20    minutes for any required lane closures.

• Ramp Improvements/Meter Installation – eastbound ramps at Empire Junction (exit 232), Downieville (exit 234) and east Idaho Springs (exit 241)

        Shoulder closures and occasional right or left lane closure on eastbound I-70 at east Idaho Springs,    Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to     noon.  No I-70 lane closures between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

• Operations Through the Eisenhower Tunnel

        Resurfacing preparations: one lane closed eastbound and westbound, Monday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 9 a.m.
        Tunnel Lighting Installation: no lane closures planned for this week.
        Tunnel Wash: alternating lane closures, Monday through Sunday, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
        Note:  All projects coordinate lane closures to minimize traffic impacts.

• Sediment Control – just west of the Eisenhower Tunnel

        Right lane and shoulder closed westbound, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, 7 a.m. to noon.
