Call to Order:

Mike Chevarria motioned to start the meeting, Keith Briggs 2nd the motion.  Chip Rich called the FHAPOA Business Meeting to order at approximately 4:00 pm.

Committee Reports

·        Road and Bridge Committee: (Pat Aiello, Karen & John Dobel) Pat Aiello gave the report.  There have been No commitments from county for run-off, or pro-active maintenance.  Culverts are not maintained.  No road base.  Road initiative plan was given two years ago, nothing was done.  Pat needs volunteers to show up at the meeting on October 27^th, 1pm, Commissioner’s Meeting in Georgetown. 

·        Community Wildfire Protection Plan Committee: (Josh Lewis) Linda Berteau is working on getting final signatures.  There are signatures that can’t be obtained until costs with mitigation are included in the CWPP. 

·        Neighborhood Roadway Safety Committee: (Kris Lee) Possibly place a “yield to uphill traffic” sign at Aspen & Ponderosa.

·        Emergency Notification Committee: (Lou Montgomery. Jeff Hume, Paul and Linda Berteau) Voice shot is going to be sent out for road and bridge meeting and for the neighborhood watch meeting. 

·        Development Committee: (Jim White, Mike Chevarria, Bob Mueller, Connie Staponski, John and Karen Dobel)  None

·        Water Response Committee: (Jim White, Rebecca Lindeman) None

·        Activity Committee: (Anne White, Holly Gangell, Joyce Chevarria, Linda Berteau, Jael Dale) Holly is going to call Keith about hosting holiday party & December FHAPOA meeting.

Continuing Business

·        Transferring voting rights/Mr. Burgess (no update at this time)

·         Neighborhood Entrance Sign (no update at this time)

·         22 households for chipper

·        Neighborhood Watch Program – Linda Berteau has ordered new signs.  Next steps to implement new program.  Inaugural meeting coming soon.  Jim White suggested including Saddleback and Beaver Brook. 

New Business

·        Possibility of not having the chipper – should look into reasons

·       Adopt a highway (Mike Chevarria) – Linda Berteau and Mike have completed a form to adopt a hwy.  The 2 mile stretch on hwy 40.
