This meeting took place in an informal fashion as a portion of the annual picnic and grand opening of the Elmgreen Park and playground.

Paul Berteau, motioned to start the meeting, Cindy Tate 2nd the motion. Josh Lewis called the FHAPOA Business Meeting to order at approximately 6:00 pm.

* Floyd Hill sign refurbish, meeting snacks, flea market advertising, chipper weekend costs, state filing fee, dues mailing.

Master plan communications is still in progress.

Picnic was a HIT. Over 150 neighbors from Floyd Hill, Beaver Brook and Saddle back joined in a "mining" themed event with plenty of food and great games for the kids. This was in conjunction with the grand opening of the Elmgreen playground.

Halloween party is being planned for October 31st at Lou and Autumn Montgomery's home.

Chipper weekend June 27 & 28 was a huge success. Next chipper weekend slated for September 26 & 27. Looking for volunteers for removing dead trees from the Open Space allocation near Saddleback.

Idaho Springs Chamber of Commerce - Update will happen at the next FHAPOA meeting.

Tree spraying - between 500-600 trees were sprayed this past July for pine beetles.

Noxious weed eradication - took place at Clear Creek High School 9am-12noon, June 27th. Linda Berteau was in attendance.

New Business:

Date for next FHAPOA meeting, Tuesday, September 22, 2009.

Ken Quast suggested purchasing chairs/tables for use at future meetings/events. Attendees agreed good idea and will move suggestion forward.
