I.    Call to order at 7:00pm

II.    Discussion on the Clear Creek County Water Augmentation Plan

a. Golden filed an application for water rights for a Kayak Park. Clear Creek County wanted to apply for senior water rights throughout the county by the designated date of Feb. 15 to avoid possible conflict with Golden’s water park plans.

b. The plan to augment diversions from wells and other water structures throughout the county, by means of replacing water into the mainstream of Clear Creek does include the Floyd Hill area.

c. While we are not worried about what the county might do now, we feel it prudent to file a statement of opposition to the county’s application.

d. This statement of Opposition would allow us to keep our senior rights over our water in our wells in the Floyd Hill area. We feel since we adjudicated our wells, we do not want the possibility of our water being used to augment the county need.

III.     Legal Representation

a. Raymond Petros of Petros & White will represent us and file a statement of opposition on our behalf.

IV.    Motion was made to approve Petros and the legal fees of $3,ooo to file the

        Statement of Opposition. The motion was seconded and approved.

a. Further discussion lead to the amendment of the above motion to include calling Dev Rush who may be someone with added information about the wells in our areas.

b. It was also approved to use the new Voiceshot phone call system to call members about meetings.
